“State of Symfony 2” in Minsk
Meloge supports the initiative of hosting Symfony hub in Minsk. It’s the broadcast of online conference “State of Symfony 2” organized by Sensio Labs. They came up with an alternative idea of holding a conference – “hubs”. The concept of a hub is very simple but yet interesting: instead of watching the conference alone at home you can join the one already organized.
Meloge is the organizer of “State of Symfony 2” hub in Minsk. The event will be held on June 23. It’s absolutely free. All you need to do is to register here.
The conference will cast light on the current state of the new version of Symfony, scheduled for release late this year. The speeches by prominent speakers working at Sensio Labs will cover important aspects of Symfony 2. And at the end of the conference, the second Preview Release of Symfony 2 will be published, including updated documentation.
Judging by the topics stated in the schedule, the conference promises to be interesting. That’s exactly what the participants are looking forward to.
In Minsk the conference will begin at 17:30 at the address 1605, 2 Melnikayte str.
The following speakers and topics will be presented:
- Fabien Potencier: Unit & Functional Tests
- François Zaninotto: Symfony 2 Meets Propel 1.5
- Jonathan Wage: What's new in the Doctrine 2 Symfony Integration
- Fabien Potencier: Miscellaneous enhancements
- Bernhard Schussek: The new form framework
- Fabien Potencier: The Symfony 2 Killer Feature
There will be time for discussion after the conference: everybody will have the opportunity to interact with Symfony developers from Meloge and share your own Symfony experience. This kind of events usually bring many benefits: you can meet like-minded fellows, occasionally get hired and just have a good time and make the most of it.
The broadcasting will be in English and will take about 3 hours. The registration is obligatory for all the participants.
